Recommended, once you visit the Supreme Court. The food is nice, and the prices are affordable.
Worst service of our lives, they yelled at my little sister for asking about a Caramel drink, and my little brother didn’t even get his food. Wish I could do negative 5 stars. Every one seems incompetent, extremely rude. Would have been better off not walking in tbh
The Supreme Court was amazing to see! However, we went to the cafe and the servers were incredibly rude. We took our receipt to the counter to pay cash, and the tax had not been added. The bill was higher when I went to check out so I asked about it. The server was nasty to me, and then proceeded to talk crap about me and my group as we ate our food in the cafe. We were surprised how nice this café was. Service was very friendly, and food was good. Prices were reasonable for the heart of DC. It was not crowded and we were seated right away. The place was very clean. The atmosphere (tables, chairs, artwork) was much nicer than we anticipated.
I ordered a tuna cheese (American cheese) melt with mayo; I did not get my cheese on it. I went back and told the employees this, and they were happy to remake it. They gave me a new one, but the cheese wasn't American and there was no mayo on it. But whatever, I just sucked it up and grabbed a mayo packet instead of going back again because I wasn't going to have them remake the whole thing again. My dad also ordered a cheeseburger and paid extra for bacon, and they gave him no bacon
