Just lost a customer.... thanks for nothing guys. Switching companies
Their customer service is awful. They tell you they will deliver, yet you have to call when it doesn't show up. This has happened several times. I asked to close our account since we decided to go with a more reliable company... That was mid-November 2015. We still haven't received our credit and when I go online to look at our account, I cannot access it. I would not recommend them at all!
Not helpful in emergency situations of non-account holders. We ran out of oil in our new home on a Saturday- they wouldn't deliver oil to non-account holders, but one cannot set up an account until the weekday business hours, so we are apparently expected to freeze for 48 hours. To me, this says more about the character of the company, and that's enough for me to not do business with them.

We often get confused with them because of the similar name and service area. We offer 24/7 service on weekends and weekdays to all customers and potential customers. We have been loyal customers of Superior since we bought our home 27 years ago. Superior has always been an excellent supplier, not only of oil but they also replaced our old oil burner over 20 years ago and it has been running without problems under their care and good service. I recently posted about what I saw as an unfair pricing policy. They promptly called me and told me that they have just developed new pricing policies in light of falling oil prices. I'm staying with Superior because they are.
