same as Leanne below, paid a huge sum for membership and the first time I claimed for a chip from a stone it was rejected. Offered to do it $440!! Others be aware - what it says on the brochure is not what you are covered for
Unfortunately paid $1995 for the 5 year deal and not covered for the only one time when need, when signing up, please go thru every single terms and conditions. They also quoted $1150 for the same job. Got fixed by local panel shop for $150. Not recommended for the value and money.
Do not recommend. Extremely disappointing customer service. After declining two repairs and also refusing to view the scratch and small dent, the car dealership called them and they refused the request for help, I would not recommend using this company. They offered me an industry rate of $550 to fix one scratch. Yet a panel shop quoted $300. I will be following up with both consumer affairs and the ombudsman office. I bought a car that had an existing scrach 'n dent policy that had been fully paid for and contacted them to transfer over the policy to my name - which the terms and conditions clearly states you can. I was told the owner needed to have requested the transfer before the sale - which doesnt make any sense - no one is going to transfer a policy before the sale has been finalised. Seems it's a typical junk insurance.
Unfortunately the colour matched went darker visibly within a week after the repair was completed. I have contacted Ross several times, he attempted to schedule the paint job but cancelled last minute, his van broke down. After that we had to reschedule once again and he never returned any of my calls or text messages after that. Very disappointing and it would cost me a fortune to repair his error, not only he mismatched the bumper bar but the whole side of the door frame's colour.
