Best steak subs on the North Shore. My girlfriend has been enjoying them for almost 50 years. I'm from NH and might even consider moving closer. Paper towels at the counter seats are a great idea.
Called on a slow Sunday for an Italian with no hots, and mayo on it. I had to call back to confirm order that I wanted everything else with the Italian as they had no idea what I was trying to order. Got the food and they still got it wrong, didn’t put any of the toppings listed on the menu on it except the mayo. its frustrating to pay nearly $15 for a sandwich, confirm the order TWICE and they still get it wrong.
Every time I am in the Boston area I go out of my way to visit super sub shop. 20 years after I moved away I brought my wife here on a vacation. She was convinced I was overselling their subs, she was pleasantly surprised how good they are. I see a lot of people posting negative review of other menu items. Let me be clear, this is a cheesesteak shop. Their steak bombs are next level amazing. I would put them up against any other place that’s famous for cheesesteak.
Always great steak subs, here. I also love the Cheeseburger sub w/ fried onions, fried peppers, and extra mustard. Deeelicious!
