RecommendedWhat a beautiful spot! The grounds on this property are gorgeous. The staff was pleasant and did an excellent job of being helpful in spite of the COVID-19 situation.
The front desk staff gave inconsistent information. I called the day before my arrival to see how early I could check in, as I was in town for a wedding, the young last told me check in time is 2, but I may be about to check in early if the room is cleaned by then. that's fine, no later than 2 works for my needs. we had a really bad stay. Nancy at the front desk was really rude. I am happy the manager did fix my bill and refunded my pet deposit though. We had found green booger's on our comforter, the ironing board was falling off and she told us we would be charged even though we didn't do it , can't leave your dogs unattended in the hotel room even though it's pet friendly, we paid for two nights but after our first night Nancy had asked my husband if we were checking out. why would we check out if i paid for two nights. If I could, I would give this establishment a zero. My niece was suppose to have her 7th birthday there, but they double booked. I understand, humans make mistakes, but not give my sister the time of day and talk to her. Is simply unprofessional. In northern Minnesota we don’t have many options for birthday parties, but I can guarantee my family will never have another party there!
Needed a place to sleep last minute visiting Eveleth and this Super 8 was great! Very homey and comfy and very clean. Staff was very nice. We'll be staying here again.
Got the whirlpool suite on a weeknight from a travel website for the same price as a regular room on the hotel's website. When you get the nicest room in the hotel, you deal with ice and vending being right outside your door. The whirlpool jets needed to be cleaned as there was an odor when we first turned them on.
