It's not a super 8 anymore. It was hot in the lobby hot in the hallway the AC went out in the room and there was a dead cockroach in the other room they moved me to
As a place to stop and sleep for the night, this Super 8 worked. It was located close to the freeway, so was convenient, but the part of town didn't feel very secure (to the point where we unloaded everything from the vehicle as a precaution--not something we really wanted to do). Their pool was completely unusable as it had been filled in with dirt and grass. They probably don't advertise a pool on their web presence, but for where it is in CA, and from reviewing its site/room map, I expected I could use my swimsuit and coo... read more

This hotel is gross. It smells horrendous as soon as we walked down the hallway. The rooms smell weird smoke/Indian food/dirt. It's outdated, outlets cracked, towel racks falling off, carpet ancient and dirty. Loud, all night long doors slamming in the hallway, people jumping around upstairs. The best part of waking up was no filter for the coffee maker. This was by far the worst hotel room we have stayed in.
Great quiet room, very friendly and helpful staff, good food and shops real close. Couldnt ask for more.
