I would have given 4 stars as everything was good, until we met Charlie in the morning. The lady at checkin was very nice and the room was what we expected. We checked out just after 6am. Charlie was a bit less than pleasant. We waited for breakfast to open and with Charlie’s unpleasantness and not seeing that breakfast would be available anytime soon, we left and ate elsewhere.
Regardless of the poor reviews we decided to stay here and I’m glad we did. The service was very good and the room was very clean. The only downside to staying here was that the shower only got too warm, not hot.
They don’t deserve the name super 8 no upgrades no hospitality one in prestonburg or Corbin does do right
