My husband and I live in Ronks, PA, about 4 miles from where this La Quinta Inn is located, and have been Wyndham Rewards members for many years. Every year we go "away" (not necessarily far away) for our anniversary, usually to a Wyndham property, just to get out of the house for a few days, and this year was no different. WORSE HOTEL EVER! PHONE AND TV DID NOT WORK. Moved to another room it was filthy, mold in corners, bed sheets looked dirty! Was told my $50 deposit would be refunded to my bank, needless to say, THE HOTEL STOLE MY MONEY AND REFUSES TO REFUND. Please do not stay at this hotel. Honestly, it should be shut down for sanitary reasons.

If there were a negative star, that is what my rating would be. Pool and hot tub were not functioning. Much worse, though, is that they charged me an addditional $250 for so-called damage to the toilet in the unit. They sent me photos and this is clearly rot that has never been addressed. I called several times to dispute but they refused to refund the additional and unmerited charge. They said they would refer it to the manager who is unavailable for several days. Had a reservation for 21-25 Jan 26 but due to a snow storm scheduled on 23 Jan, caught an earlier flight home and checked out on the 23rd of Jan. Received an incorrect receipt for one day vs two days but had to get to the airport early due to the shutdown and before flights started to be cancelled. After checking my credit card statement recently, the hotel changed me for the full four days and never contacted me, emailed or mailed me an updated receipt. Very rude front desk worker has repeatedly asked me if i have a room at the hotel. Im literally on the property, ive bought snacks and drinks and have given you my room number. When i wake up for breakfast and walk in the lobby I speak and say good morning with no response but a cold stare from behind the counter. to be suprised very suddenly by the desk guy literally next to me asking if u have a room. Well, our first hint should've been that there was no rest room in the lobby - there was really no lobby. Second hint - we were supposed to be on the ground floor, we were on the third floor and the elevator was broken.... The door locks had been "re-attached" more than once , so we knew there had been compromises.... Amid other concerns, the final straw was being awakened around 2am by 13 gunshots - close gunshots! We had a wonderful stay at Baymont by Wyndham Durango. The staff were kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, and they made us feel cared for throughout our stay. Their hospitality felt personal and sincere, almost like being treated as family. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The fridge, microwave, and coffee maker were convenient and made it easy to settle in. Housekeeping did an excellent job, and everything felt fresh and cared for. While our room worked for us on our road trip. We were double charged for a single night at this hotel. The manager told me they run the card two times after and that he saw two reservations that they had for me, which I only had one. They would not refund the 2nd charge which was on a separate day! Beware!!! Seems like this could be a pattern there!
