Booked 2 rooms with Hotels.com four days prior to my event in Marion, arrived and the front desk manager said they have no reservations on file and no rooms even though I had a receipt and proof. The front desk even confirmed my receipt and said they were sold out and asked me to leave, So Rude. I asked for the manager, the front desk said “let me call my manager” she’s on the phone then he comes popping through a door behind the desk, lol. This is a typical Super 8. It's a party place for local drug users and traveling construction workers. I'm from the area and thought from the looks of the place outside things had changed so we gave it shot. In 18 years the only change is the outside looks better than it used to look. It as well as the hotel across the street is frequented by drug users and dealers. There is lots of drinking outside and partying going on. The room we got was dirty.
