The staff were disrespectful and unprofessional. Checked in late due to travel times and claimed to not have any 1beds available despite having a list of rooms on the desk and I could see 6 1beds available. They then argued with me the following morning that they hadn’t checked out my room despite me having been there all night and having the key for it. The room was clean, albeit stained in the bathroom. We hoped to have more energy for the Spring Craft Fair by booking a hotel the night before, instead of getting up early to drive 2 hours. The next door neighbor's smoke detector went off 4 times that night, due to smoking in the room. I finally went to the front desk to ask. I really wish they had sent them away after the 2nd time, at least, because the rooms are supposed to be non-smoking. (Our bedding had burn holes from a cigarette.) Place is pretty run down. The bed was broken so the mattress was at an extreme angle and only 1 light bulb in the entire room lit up. No one was working the front desk. You had to just call a phone number and they had a basket full of room keys with numbers on them, then told you over the phone to sift through and find your key. Thats how you check in. Not a great spot

When we first arrived there was a nice lady and then she disappeared and all men that couldn't speak English showed up.
