My boyfriend and I booked a hotel room for our cross-country trip, but it was disgusting. When we tried to check in, we were told that our age, being under 21, prevented us from staying in the room we had reserved in advance. However, this age requirement was not mentioned during the booking process. Because of the bad weather outside, the receptionist let it slide and let us stay. If I could post a zero star I would! My wife and son stay there with her daughter for a swimming spa day for her daughters birthday. She gets there and the adververtised pool was not available also the king room with fire place and hot tub was a suite and they said that the picture doesn't mean thats what we get they didnt offer any breakfast like they said, my 6 month old son get a few bed bug bites and my wife got huge welts from the bites. They offer nothing they advertised.pool is closed and breakfast is a cereal . They also add on additional fees and charges . Ex $30 if you use a third party to book. Police showed up two different times in our 24 hour stay because of unhappy guest. Staff is rude and state they are privately owned and they can do what they want. Lots of hazards if you have small kids . Metal dryer vent is in the shower . I guess they didn’t finish remolding the laundry room now a bathroom . Very dangerous easily cut yourself trying to bath.
The desk attendant was rude, on what seemed to be a video call with 6 other people when we walked up and kept the calling going while checking us in. The light switch does not work when you walk in the room. That lighting in the room overall was not great. We checked the bed and it appeared somewhat dirty under the mattress but thankfully no bed bugs.
