This was a nice place. My wife was honked off about their one and only ice machine being broken. The room was clean, the AC worked great and wasn't noisy. There was a nasty looking stuffed armchair in the room. The breakfast was your typical Wyndham fare, but they did have a pancake machine. Nice looking pool, but it was closed for some reason.
I checked in online and that is about the only thing I can find to give 5 stars. Now, the room is fairly clean and the A/C works well. HOWEVER: 1. The ice machine doesn’t work; at the front desk, I was handed a frozen-together bag of crushed ice. 2. There are no drinking glasses or cups. 3. There is no coffee pot. 4. Although I don’t care, the pool was not open. 5. The freezer in the fridge was iced shut. 6. The TV must be on for the WiFi to work. It is set back off the road, I really like the lack of road noise. The staff Ive interacted with have been wonderful, friendly and very helpful. It is an older building, the room shows some age and maybe needs a little love but it was clean. Beds were comfortable, everything worked as it should and they had no issue with my dog. It was exactly what I needed for the night on a long road trip.
Polite staff, easy access, condiments were adequate Great breakfast for on the go
