I paid $171 for one night here, and unfortunately, my experience didn’t match the positive reviews I had read beforehand. The room smelled musty with a strong incense-like odor, and the overall hotel carried a heavy spice smell. Upon entering, it was clear the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in some time. Very dirty. Room had obviously been smoked in. The shower handle was broken and the bathroom exhaust fan was very weak causing the smoke alarm to go off. Would not recommend to stay here.
No elevator in the building, which has three floors of rooms. Limited amenities (basically just coffee and a water bottle) and the beds are woefully out of date. This hotel is perfectly fine as a place to sleep for a weekend to visit relatives or some other reason, but I wouldn't recommend it as a vacation spot.
Food crumbs on the floor and the bed. Did they even change the sheets?? It looks like someone was eating in bed. There was ants on the floor because of the food. The AC very noisy and barely worked to cool down the room. The room smelled very musty. The bathroom was OK. It looked more clean then the room. The front desk was fine, no complaints, gave us a water bottle which is nice. 4th of July weekend and they want $200/night. Outrageous.
