We held a unique sound installation at the Sunsphere and it was an exceedingly good experience. Misty is exceptional to work with and was flexible and helpful at every step of the way. Everything was straight forward and went very smoothly. Plus it is obviously a unique venue. We have no complaints whatsoever and our guests all had a fantastic experience.
Sunsphere Events hosted our wedding 3 years ago, and we still have friends and family raving about the experience. Donna and staff made our dreams come true from the moment we met for a tour to the moment Donna walked us out at the end of our wedding evening. Their venue is crisp and elegant. The food was amazing, all of the recommendations on outside vendors were incredible. My daughter and I came to the Pink Bridal show on August 11, 2024 in Knoxville. We spoke with a representative at the Sunsphere booth and scheduled a tour for August 15 at 6:30pm (just 4 days later) We arrived and were unable to find anyone!! After about 30 minutes of waiting we were able to get in contact with someone who told us “Sorry! I see that appointment now, I forgot I had something today. The ball got dropped, please let us know if we can help you next time”
My experience with venue works ended very poorly. Donna was extremely rude to me and some of the guests. Misty was very over extended during set up. She worked hard but was unable to provide the services paid for in my contract. Although the Sunsphere view is beautiful, it is not worth the trouble working with Venue Works. It’s too bad the City of knoxville has a beautiful venue that I cannot recommend.
We chose the Sunsphere for our rehearsal dinner since it is an iconic Knoxville venue and wanted to impress our out of town/state family and guests. Leading up to the dinner, Donna and Misty were very quick to respond and help us plan out all the details and were great at communication. Our guests complimented the setup of the space, unique venue choice and all had a wonderful evening. Thank you for allowing us a great venue for a memorable night!
