I really love how much everyone here tries to make sure my kids feel comfortable and special when they come to get their teeth cleaned or any procedures done. My five year old had to have some extensive work done and they did everything they could from encouragement to movies to calming techniques to rewards to help him. And although he didn't "like" the procedures... he needed them and he left with giving them thumbs up. Thanks Dr. Alvarez and Dr. Kristen and all the great staff at Sunshine Smiles!
We totally loved Dr. Alvarez and her staff at Sunshine Smiles!! This place is perfect!! My son has autism and he felt very comfortable and happy to be there!! He was all smiles when we left and that's worth a million bucks to me!! Thanks guys!!!
Dr. Kristin and Dr. Alvarez are wonderful, as well as the dental hygienists! My 2 boy's loved visiting last week, even my 5 year old can't wait to come back! :-) My only complaint was that they did not notify me until after the appointment was complete that our insurance wasn't covered. Since I understand that it is the patient's responsibility to ensure coverage, I agreed to pay even though it is a huge burden and financial hardship on my family. :-( However, I still recommend Sunshine Smiles....if you have insurance that c... read more

Sweet and caring staff and fabulous dentists. I'm grateful to have them as our dentist!
Cannot say enough good things about Dr Alvarez and the entire staff! Everyone is so patient with my apprehensive child and puts him at ease. He had some work done and still has no idea that he got shots or that they used a drill because of the creative manner Dr. Alvarez used to explain the "cavity monsters" and getting them out! So happy we found this office!
