beware this motel. they take your cash deposit and use any means however trivial to keep your deposit or partial. very dishonest business
RecommendedFirst of all in spite of some negative reviews, our stay was better than anticipated. We chose this location so we could be closer to Myakka River State Park. Our room was a very comfortable, spacious, quiet and immaculately clean accommodation. We were met with a friendly face and smile upon check in. I would stay here again and most certainly recommend friends and family here.
very very clean and pleasantly surprised of the roominess, amenities and again super clean. last minute 1 night stay and happy with the experience.

small but cheap and very clean. I don't think I would be staying there with the whole family but for just two of us, it was great.
Lovely quiet clean rooms ...great pool area.
My dad, myself and my toddler came to Venice to visit my grandmother. We got a room with 2 beds. Room was tiny, couldn’t even carry a suitcase through the entrance. Shower smelled like fish when I turned on the water. Many tiles in the shower were cracked. The walls of the room are all mint green, minimal artwork placed in a weird spots above the beds. Service was ok, didn’t use the pool. Biggest complaint is that the room is extremely small.
Very Clean, Older Style place. Owners really take care of it. Would stay again. Pool looked nice, but didn't swim. Thank you.
