Kelley Michelle Dvm - Sunset Veterinary Hospital is Purrr...fect I took our family's guinea pig to Dr. Kelley's office after one of my kids accidentally;y dropped him. He had broken his legs and Dr. Kelley took xrays and splinted her back legs. She followed her progress until she was fully healed. Her fees were reasonable and her and her staff were very nice. I'd recommend them to all.
The entire staff is wonderful! I take both of my dogs here for all of their regular vet visits and have never had a bad experience. One of my dogs is a difficult patient and usually needs to wear a muzzle. They are always so patient and kind to him. My other dog has had many medical problems so we have been at the vet quite often. They are always so kind, caring and gentle. Good Experience I have had nothing but good experiences with Sunset Veterinary. Other then normal checkups, I have taken Sparky in for an injured leg and torn dew claw pads twice. Sparky was given good quality care and the price was reasonable.
Rude staff, and they keep misdiagnosing my dog. about 2 month ago my puppy started having loose / yellowish stools. when i first asked the doc, she said most likely food. Switch food, no change. a month later she developed diarrhea and rash. brought her in was told to keep her on a bland diet and give perdisone and benadryl for rash. Week later rash was improving but she started squating and straining when she peed. They told me it was normal since she is on perdisone. Not at all what I expect!! I would not personally recommend this place to my friends as when I brought my dog in for stomach pains, they quoted me for the dr's visit and then called me later to say that they will need to run blood tests, x-rays and 'other' exams to see what was wrong. When I asked them for the price, they gave me a ball park figure, which was approximately $850.00 and said it could be more but will let me know. Dr. Paul Bannow is amazing I've taken my first dog to Dr. Paul since she was 3 years old (now 15), and our second dog since we got him 8 years ago. Dr. Paul is kind, compassionate, and wonderful with the animals and their owners. He's also reasonable and respectful of your decisions with what is best for your furry friends. I've tried other vets when we moved to Palo Alto and San Mateo, but I keep coming back and commuting to see Dr. Paul. I can't rave about him enough!
Barbara I have been going to Sunset Vet for over 20 years and have complete faith in Dr. Hall. She is a very compassionate, caring person and my dogs have thrived with her help. Dr. Hall is an excellent vet. I have also seen Dr. Kelley on occasion and she is also a compassionate caring person. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Long Time Customer We have brought dogs and cats to Sunset Veterinary Hospital for many years. We have had experiences with 4-5 vets there. We take our two dogs and two cats for regular care with Dr. Michelle Kelly, who is excellent. They have assisted us with several dying animals and were informative, helpful and sensitive. Satisfactory job I brought my dog here so that she can get her annual check up. the person at the fron desk greeted me, but the doctor wasn't too nice. Although he did everything that he was suppose to, i didn't feel like he was taking the extra step to really give my dog a complete check up.
