RecommendedI checked in at 11:30 pm at night with my daughter and was treated with kindness and respect. This will be our new stop on our 9 hour drive home to Northern Michigan. Very clean room and reasonable price. Brand new refrigerator, coffee machine and microwave in the room. This family owned business is honestly one of the best motels that I have ever stayed at. The Sunset Lodge treats you like a family not a customer. This makes all the difference for a weary traveler.
My husband and I just stayed 2 nights with Sunset Lodge. Our room was comfortable, clean, and very spacious. I will definitely stay at this motel again if we are ever in the Escanaba area, and would recommend them to others!!

Great price, room and service. Super pet friendly with no additional charge and a treat for your dog on arrival. I'll definitely stay again.
We got the room with THREE queen size beds. That was awesome. Flat screen TV . Comfy beds. Slept so well I thought I was home! Coffee and goodies in the morning. They accept pets ! That was wonderful. We were able to swim at the Terrace Bay hotel just down the road. That was a added bonus. Will be coming again !
