Great place to get your boat worked on
I’m been a regular for a few years at the Marina. This past year I’ve been taking kids fishing for the CCAFLSTAR Youth Angler Tournament. Sunset Landings is always very helpful with everything. Today I took 2 little girls fishing and the marina loaned me a youth Personal Flotation Device and made sure it fit perfectly. The girls had a blast fishing and I am very thankful to Sunset Landings for all they do!!!
We rented 2 pontoon boats for my birthday. When we came back they insisted one of the boats had prop damage. it was severe damage and would have been done of we hit rocks. We would have had to gone a shore or hit a sandbar. None of which had happened. Their employees were very rude when they tried to explain the damages to us as well. I wouldn't recommend.
We rented a pontoon for 4 hours. It already had damage to the side of the pontoon and they tried to charge us for damage to the prop. Serious damage to the prop that would have had to occur if we ran into a sandbar at a high rate of speed or rock. We literally didn’t even run a shore or come close to the island. We anchored off shore. We will never use this marina again. Very rude about it when questioned.
They are the best. We have utilized them for the 10 yrs we have been in this area, and there is so much to be said for old time, personal, friendly, honest, knowledgeable assistance, on the water. They are a wonderful family business.
