We spent a couple of nights here in this quiet little campground and were really impressed. The place has 27 sites with brick streets, a wonderful swimming pool with a special area for kids, having fountains and slide. You can fish off of the dock and they even have an outdoor kitchen where you can prepare your catch of the day. Management was very friendly and made sure we were satisfied with everything. You won't be disappointed if you visit them.

Jimmy helped me out with our camper and made the trip better. It was our first RV trip and needless to say we needed help. The pool was as cool and the observation decks were cooler. Everything was super clean and quiet. We can't wait to come back. Good times! Next time we are bringing a group.

We love the Forgotten Coast of Florida. There are plenty of things to do along the coast near here. They have done a lot of work this year to make this a first class park . The new owners have gone out of their way to make our stay pleasant. It is a great place to bring your boat and enjoy the coastal fishing. We would highly recommend this campground and will be back here again when in the area.

I can only have good things to say about our stay here from the day we arrived to the day we left. It is a very pretty setting and peaceful. The owner has bent over backwards to help us with a problem that we were having with our RV – we didn’t feel stranded. The Wi-Fi problem that the previous reviewer spoke of must have been corrected, since ours has been fine. I would definitely recommend staying here and although we travel different parts of the country, if we are ever back in this area, we would make this our “home” aga... read more

We booked this site by accident as we saw the sign after our planned site was full. We had great time there and internet was fine. The owner was very friendly and actually helped us sort out a hitch problem which saved us going to a dealer. Carrabelle and area was a great stop with lots to do. Loved Appalachicola. Would recommend this area and would definitely stay at Sunset Isle again.

Nice place and owner is very friendly and helpful. Sites are very spacious. Nice water views from the decks. Internet was good. Power was 50amp, but they supplied an adapter to 30amp. Nice seafood restaurant and lounge across the lane (easy walk about 300 yards). Grounds are well kept. Pool is nicely kept, but not heated. I would stay here again, hopefully for a longer stay. Rate shown was the weekend rate. Passport America rates available during weekdays. Most of the residents are longer term. We camped here in a Travel Tra... read more

This is a very nice campground, that is well kept and maintained. The fishing is great, and the Managers are very nice. It was too cold to get in the pool, but it was very clean. We have a great view of the river and the boat traffic. The access roads are beautiful brick pavers. And if you're in the area, please drive the 23 miles to Apalachicola, and eat the best fried oysters I've ever put in my mouth, at Papa Joe's Oyster Bar and Grill next to Scipio Creek Marina on Market Street. No wonder this is a favorite of locals. W... read more

This is a wonderful little park, with large sites, and a beautiful pool and hot tub. What is really refreshing is the location, down on the river and off the highway. The only noise is the river "traffic" and the birds. The night sky over the marsh is beautiful with no light infiltration. Due to its location on the river and marsh, there are those no seeums, so take bug spray. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

It is located near several very good seafood restaurants, and we were able to purchase bushels of oysters which we could steam over the fire pits located only feet away from our coach. The sites were huge, and the price was very inexpensive. The owners were most accommodating. We enjoyed it so much we stayed for almost 2 weeks. We will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
