Awful place. We’ve used many vets and it’s the only one that our dog was scared to be at visibly. Their reception takes forever to reach out to by phone, they have no problem with making you wait does doctor for half an hour when you are 10 min late be wise there’s no parking in the vicinity, they strictly adhere to the show-on-time policy. I had an appt for my dog with Christy Silvaberg today and had a terrible experience. They don't care about your dog's health and are more concerned about making money. I have a 2 year old bernedoodle and needed more flea/tick meds which I ordered from Chewy. This vet office denied the request and said i had to bring him in for a general exam (which was $100 and all she did was listen to his heartbeat and spent maybe 90 seconds with him). I cannot say enough positive about Sunset Cliffs Animal Hospital. Everyone is wonderful but my vet, Dr. Whitted, has been absolutely outstanding. My dog has had 2 emergency surgeries since we moved back to San Diego 4 months ago. Dr Whitted has kindly and patiently worked with me to figure out what’s wrong. She is so smart and sweet that she makes what could be a stressful experience a pleasure. Highly recommend.

The front desk staff is so incompetent and I was really concerned with the technicians when the pet went inside I'm wondering if they did what they were supposed to do!
