Looking over these reviews and seeing all the positive remarks makes me think these people are either getting free services from this vet or they are delusional. The staff at Sunrise Vet are irresponsible, uninformed, reckless, careless, pretty much they do what they want. I've seen one employee answering the phones putting people on hold and walking away to get a drink - he was gone for at least ten minutes. My pet had to stay at this "clinic" and when I brought her home, she had changed - she was terrified of everything... read more
Dr. Abernathy and Dr. Powers are excellent. I used to have Dr.Welch who retired and is just great. But Dr. Abernathy is the best surgeon around and I wish he could be my physician. Staff is courteous, as long as you are, they still remain respectful and compassionate. He does not overcharge as ALL other VETS do in this town.
I have a ten year old Lab who is Diabetic. We were frantic when she [Brode] was diagnosed, so with the help of Dr Abernathy and his great staff she is stable. Even on a Sunday the Doc was still there when I called in her A. 1. C., they help keep me sane. I have three other dogs and they have been just caring. Thankyou all.
We have been very fortunate to have found a veterinary service like sunrise as they have been wonderful with all my pets. I have a 10yr old lab who is diabetic and I do not know what I would have done without Dr Abernathy and his great staff, I am so greatful to them all for all there kindness and consideration even on a weekend they have been there for me, and I cannot say enough good things about them.
