Mind you, scheduled an appointment for ACRYLIC. Walked in and practically pressured into switching to GELX due to the process being "faster" ... Ended up being here for THREE hours. Reference the inspiration photo and what I got, like I wish this was AI. She ended up cutting one of my cuticles doing work while I was bleeding; And ended up having to switch one of the designs because she spent an hour and was too stressed to make it look cute. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my experience. When I made my appointment, I was asked twice whether I needed a refill or a new set. Both times, I specifically said that I wanted a builder gel set. Despite clearly communicating this, the nail technician initially proceeded as if I was getting a fill. Midway through the appointment, she told me that we would have to do a new set and that it would be an additional $10. I don’t typically leave reviews but I write this as I’m still sitting in my chair! I was having a bad day and decided to do some self-care - I didn’t feel like driving far to my regular place so I called and was able to come in same day for a luxury pedicure and ZEN builder gel manicure. They checked in with me each step of the way to ensure I liked the shape and color. Tina was so meticulous and detailed with my pedicure. Safe to say I will be back in a couple weeks.
