I want to share a concern based on my experience with this peer support organization. The individuals providing services, teaching classes and faciltating groups at Sunrise Mountain Wellness Center are not licensed clinicians, yet discussions often involved very serious mental health and trauma-related issues. In my experience, this created a situation that felt unsafe and ethically concerning, especially for the vulnerable people who may believe that they are actually receiveing professional mental health counseling . Such an amazing service to our community!
Disorganized. I would not recommend. ALOT of homeless hang out here and they allow people to come to this " wellness center" high making it a very uncomfortable atmosphere.
