Sunrise Bistro is a quiet place to escape to for lunch. Sunrise Bistro has been around for years. It has comfortable wooden booths. Delicious bread for their sandwiches. Service is always good. There is always many people having lunch at the restaurant. It is a quiet place to escape to for a good lunch.
Don't go if you are a single diner! I frequently go our to eat by myself and regularly enjoy being treated with respect by many fine establishments. One Sunday, I went to Sunrise Bistro and put my name on the list and proceeded to wait for my table. After I watched seven couples who arrived after me be seated, I asked if my name was missed. I was told by the unfriendly hostess that it was against policy for a single diner to be seated in the center booths and I would have to wait for a table. This place is a must! I’ve been a regular ever since I moved to Walnut Creek over 10yrs ago. It is absolutely delicious and everything is so fresh. They do a great job at having options for everyone, vegan, gluten free ect. The staff is always so warm and friendly and always make the dining experience special. And since COVID-19 they have done a INCREDIBLE job at social distancing, cleanliness, staff and customer safety. Love this place, esp for breakfast! The BLTA w egg is so delicious and my go-to! We were also so lucky and thankful to have them provide lunch for free to us at The VA Martinez during the COVID-19 shelter in place ❤️ THANK YOU so much for your love and support!
