Waitress had bad attitude, said they were closing forever "because they cant afford to pay us." Orange juice tasted like warm water with tang drink mix. Half and half was curdled. No wonder they are closing!
I have loved going to Sunnyside. I will not be back again. I went in to order a to go order because online ordering was down and no one answered the phone when I called. They told me it would be 30-40 minutes and I was fine with that. I went and ran errands and came back about 35 minutes later. I ended up sitting and waiting another 40 minutes for my food. Found this super cute diner-like breakfast spot by chance and I was so pleasantly surprised by the ambience, service, and food! I had the SOUTHWEST Burrito and my mother had BISCUITS & Gravy... I tried some of hers too and boy did that make a believer out of me. I don't even usually like Biscuits and gravy, but this dish changed my mind. Sausage gravy had awful flavor. Pancakes were tough and dry. Eggs tasted like they were powdered. Service was very slow. We won't be back.
