Sunnybrook Bayview’s Pallitive Care Unit is in the K wing. The rooms are modern and nicely appointed with windows overlooking the beautiful gardens and plenty of shelves, hooks and cupboards for personal storage. The staff there were all amazing and I was especially impressed with Nurses Marcus and Simona who immediately understood my Mother’s special needs and provided excellent professional care to her.
Manager made decision that daughter cannot stay overnight with her father, he has days left. The manager never called to discuss the situation. I am disgusted with the professionalism. Why!!?
My Father was recently cared for by the wonderful Palliative care team at Sunnybrook. Dr Selby ensured we were engaged and fully informed of my Dads end of life journey. The staff were friendly and were always willing to assist us with our needs. Thank-you for all your support.
Dr Selby and the entire nursing staff were amazing ln making my mothers final days as comfortable as possible.
Very good care, facility is clean and well kept. Doctors and nurses very knowledgeable and compassionate. Made a very difficult time a little easier to bear.
