Great Hospital. Patient experience in the Family Practice Unit is always positive, warm and welcoming.
I was here with as a support person for a booked 1.30 appointment for chemotherapy.. its 3.00 pm and she has not been called in yet. I dont see why a booked appointment is delayed for so long. She told me she has waited over 2 hours before. I see patients in the waiting room curled up in chairs waiting for hours. This is not ER . Where you are triage according to need.it was a booked appointment She had a wheel trans booked at 6.00 to go back home . She had to push it back . Now she won't be home till 9.00pm . I have been here four days and all comparisions made are from other hospitals i have visited. I must say honestly the capabilites of the staff whether it be the cleaners, nurses and doctors are second to none. Compassionate and truly caring go out of their way service. My only regret is not currently being able to leave a significant donation i would like like to mention in particular one nurse whose strenghth, smarts and care has been unrivaled.
