If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. My family’s experience with the Maxillofacial/Dentistry department at Sunnybrook was devastating. For months, my mother was seen repeatedly by this department and the Emergency Department while suffering from escalating and unbearable pain. She returned again and again because nothing that was prescribed, including multiple rounds of antibiotics and other medications nothing was helping. I recently visited Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and overall, it was a positive experience. The facility is clean, well-organized, and has modern medical equipment. The staff, including doctors and nurses, were professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to patient needs. I especially appreciated their efforts to explain procedures clearly and make patients feel comfortable.
