personalized treats Couldn't be better!! I just returned from a 3 day school trip- 1,047 miles round trip. Austin was booked for the annual SXSW music fiesta I took 13 people, parents and students and based out of the Sunday House for the trip. Best value, Great pool, Warm reception! Our group stayed at the Sunday House during the ROT Rally. We had over eight bikes , four cars and 18 people. The staff was warm and helpful. The beds were great and rooms clean. After riding all day; the pool was GREAT! Had one morning of rainy weather and having the hotel within walking distance of the shops of Fredericksburg was a plus. Above and beyond From the inital contract talks (Judy) to the attentive desk clerk (Betty) and the helpful maintenance/maid service, the personnel performed above and beyond expectation; offering excellent group rates and providing meeting room with all the amenities that was just right for our group (not to mention the unexpected goodies in the frig). Little things like personalized welcomes in each room with flower and candy and info pac was an example of true southern hospitality. Recommend without reservation.
When can we come back? Loved our room...very clean...quiet...beds slept great. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly...the Contential Breakfast was fresh, had a large range of breakfast items to please all and plenty for feed the guest. Actually, very nice I stayed at the Sunday House the first part of January of this year. I had already made my reservations when I read the reviews here so was a bit leary. But I was happily surprised after staying. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, large and nice. The rooms were just remodeled and they were painting the exterior. I will stay here again.
This is a Great Place to Stay This hotel has the best location. You can park your vehicle and walk to all the shops. Very clean. Staff friendly. Good value for the price.
The staff went out of their way to accomodate us and make us feel welcomed To celebrate my 50th birthday I asked 11 girlfriends to join me for a celebration in Fredericksburg. Judy, the sales director, was very acccommodating giving us three rooms together. The rooms were clean and spacious. They set out small vases of flowers in each of the rooms. Additionally, they put up a birthday banner in my room and had a cake waiting for me in the refridgerator. The staff at Sunday House Inn and Suites made my 50th very special.
Best of all: location, service, price, courteous, helpful and on and on I travel to Fredericksburg for business often and always stay at Sunday House. The location couldn't be better, a very friendly and knowledgeable staff, helps with finding my way around town. Always meets my needs, sometimes I come with my wife and pets and they accomodate me with just the right room. They are like family now. They've remodeled in the past few years but still kept the old world look (and a clean look too!) Highly recommended!
I loved staying here I loved staying here. I came with two other friends, and we had a blast, and we were satisfied with the room. Front desk was very helpful and really nice. The breakfast was enjoyable. My friends and I were looking foward for a weekend of just relaxing and this motel was just right. I would definetely stay there again!
