Vacation Tan – Before last week, I had never tried sunless tanning before. So I had visions of bright orange skintones when I went in for my session with Natalie at Sundara. I shouldn't have worried, as it turned out to be one of the most amazing tans I have ever had (real or fake) in my life. It looks so natural that I have recieved compliments on it from my roomates, coworkers, and family, all who thought it came naturally from the sun in Miami. It is only because I can still see the tan line that I know it isn't!
who needs the sun? – I never thought a sunless tan would be able to substitute for a real suntan. I had done the spray booth about a year ago and wasn't impressed with the results. Opinion of A First Timer – I had never recieved a sunless tan before and came out with mixed results. The woman who sprayed me was very professional, I got a light tan to go with my complexion and walked out looking great! However, in less than 48 hours it had almost completely faded and what hadn't faded was extremely splotchy. I followed my sprayers directions exactly even going out and buying the moisturizers and face wash she liked but I still looked awful after one day. The experience described by this reviewer is highly uncommon. If the tan faded splotchy within 48 hours, it is because the reviewer did not properly follow post-tan instructions. Several reasons could include exfoliation within the initial 48 hours, showering less than 8 hours after the session, exposure to hot tubs or steam baths, excessive sweating, tight clothing, and/or use of astringent or drying soaps. AMAZING NATURAL TAN – I have tried everywhere around new york for airbrush tanning and this place is the best i have been too. The airbrush tan came out natural and brown, not orange like most places. They cater the color to you and it comes out perfect. A GREAT PLACE..

Sundara is Truly Divine – i'm a thirtysomething former sun-worshipper. I just like to be tan but I don't want to expose myself any longer to those sun lamps. i've done sunless tanning many times before, but just thought it wasn't ready for primetime. Enter SUNDARA. They've nailed it. This tan looks soooo natural: the color is to die for (true golden brown) and the by-hand application was clean and even. highly recommended to anyone looking for the perfect sunless tan.
beautiful foundation for trip to the beach – I was headed down to Jamaica and wanted to hit the beach in my bikini looking like I had some color. too mature for those tanning beds, so I shopped around for airbrush tanning places and found Sundara. read all the reviews and decided to give it a try. wow - I had no idea you get such a natural looking color from a spray tan. no orange at all. i loved it. will definitely be back

If you are planning a trip and wish to do a sunless tanning session before you leave, here's some advice: 1) Book your appointment the day before you leave. You don't want to get on the plane without taking your initial post-session shower. 2) Sunless tanning gives the appearance of a tan, but does not protect you against the sun's harmful rays. Please make sure to wear sunscreen (but don't wear sunscreen to your tanning session!) 3) As always, plan to mositurize heavily (2-3 times daily) to maintain the tan for a full 5-7 d... read more
Turned yellow-Spraying in a dark room – I have very fair skin with freckles and I can't get suntan. I just get burned. I was recommended to try spray on tan but I was afraid I'll be yellow. The lady mixed the color and sprayed all over on me in a pretty dark basement room, got dried (dryer) by fans. I did turn yellow, between my fingers, toes, the around the extra skin's areas (fingers,achilles etc) got even darker yellow, I guess the color concentrated there. This client did not follow specific instructions. She disclosed to us after the session that she had been wearing sunscreen. The acidic elements contained in sunscreen will counteract the effect of the sunless tanning ingredients and may produce "off-color" results. Had we known she was wearing sunscreen, we would not have provided our service to her. A Pasty White Brit Gets A Great Safe Tan – I heard of Sundara by chance; seeing a guy with a great looking tan who had similar natural coloring to me - very white skin and pale blue eyes.
