Highly Innovative Tanning Salon – Sundara provides a marvelous spray tan. sunless tanning is one of those services that is hard to count on. I've been to spray booths and other salons and you never know what you're going to get. With Sundara, I can rely on the expertise of the technician. You can select from a Menu of sunless tanning solutions and they help you find the best one for your skintype. Depends what you look you want. I just like that there is a sunless tanning salon that gives you options - only in New York . . .
A darker version of my natural skintone . . . – by far the most gorgeous tan I've ever had. The sun just turns me red; Sundara provided me with a deep brown / bronze; the color and depth of the tan was just right and it looked more like a darker version of my natural skintone. The application was flawless, not a single streak. It lasted over 7 days on my body and faded with no scaliness.
the Perfect Tan for dancers – I'm a dancer, and unfortunately somewhat pale. I like the idea of sunless tanning, but in practice, because I sweat a lot, I haven't had good experiences in the past. One of the biggest drawbacks of sunless tanning has always been that the tan will transfer to your clothing or sheets, especially if you sweat profusely. As a general rule, we recommend that you avoid sweating for about 24 hours after the session. However, you can resume any physical activity after that initial period and you should not experience any color transfer. Our sunless tanning solutions are specifically formulated to minimize the transfer to clothing.
Amazing Natural-looking tan – Nobody believed me when I told them. "Where did you go on vacation?" Nowhere. "Have you been to the tanning bed?" No. "Where did you get that color, then?" A spray tan. "Get out of here". No really. Sundara is magic. Stunning color, moisturizing, dries fast, doesn't come off onto clothing, lasts over a week. Even the hands and feet look good. The compliments didn't stop coming. I'll be here all summer . . .
Dissapointing... – I was dissapointed --- my body was left all streaky and orangy-- and it didnt help that this place was overpriced
a GLOWING review for SUNDARA – what can I say - Sundara came through on its promise of a natural looking tan. The technician, Natalie, definitely has this down to a science and the service was friendly and professional. the tan lasted about 6 days on my body, four days on my face, and I received lasts of compliments, especially in the first three days. it wasn't too dark either. Sundara gives a really beautiful sunless tan. I'll be back.
custom color sunless tanning - very cool – i've been now 3 times and decided to post a review. i'm really a big fan of this salon, as it's the only sunless tan I've had that I can "count on." They custom match the color of the tan to your skintype, which is amazing. They can also adjust the level of darkness. One thing we learned in researching sunless tanning is that everyone's skintype will react differently to different solutions. Some people like red-brown, others like golden bronze, and so forth. Thus, we have developed a system whereby we custom match the solution to our clients' particular skintype. Our goal is to give clients the most natural looking tan possible. Best Tan I've ever had – Sundara was recommended to me by friend who had it done for her birthday. I was so impressed by her tan that i had to try it out myself. I went in and was completely wowed by the service and the color.(Natalie was great.) I have never had such beautiful color before with a spray on tan. I had a great time, and felt confident with how natural the color was. Sundara is my nuber one choice and i will definately be back.
My vote for the best Sunless Tan in NYC – Sundara didn't win best sunless tan for nothing. I thought, o.k., let me check them out. I had been going to Brazil Bronze down in Soho for over a year.
