I brought my Mother to Richmond from NY 1/18. An intake nurse was at my home on 1/19. The care and attention my Mother is receiving from ALL hospice care team is AMAZING!! Thank you
Donna the RN and Tina the CNA are the BEST of Suncrest. Every patient they care for is with utmost compassion and empathy that I have ever seen. They deserve nothing but good things in their lives.
My father is in hospice now at henrico forest. The lady who explained hospice to us said they would be here every step of the way. THEY LIED. We saw them a total of 2 times with one time being to sign paperwork. They aren’t checking on him or showing care for us. They left for the day and didn’t even said goodbye. We were told they would be here along with hospital staff. Word for word we will monitor minute by minute hour by hour. They are no where to be seen as my father lays dying. What a joke.
My husband is on hospice in the hospital right now. We were told by Suncrest they would be with us every step of the way. We saw them a few times today for a few minutes. Now they're gone & didn't even tell us they were leaving. Now they're moving us to a different room on 4th floor. Can't stand that floor here at Henrico Forest. Now he's been moved to an oncology room. Had to walk a mile to get to it. Monitor was taken off. We are still waiting for a nurse to come in & do what she needs to do. This is horrendous! My family is currently using Suncrest Hospice at our home to help care for our 38-year-old daughter who has intellectual disabilities, and they are the most amazing people we have ever met! Professional, kind, supportive, and proactive to things we didn't even know we'd need.
