My Father wasn’t even in Hospice 24 hrs before they administered Morphine & Ativan continuously until deceased. What happen to nursing ethics’s? He was Lucid and they didn’t give my family the time to say our goodbyes and now we will never forget that awful day!
Both of my parents were under the care of Hospice. They both received amazing care from their RN down to our home aides. All were compassionate, caring, loving and kind. I would highly recommend Hospice to anyone that has a loved one near the end stage of their life. I just lost Mom before Christmas and her whole team was with me within minutes once I notified them that she had passed. Love this organization!!!
My mother was in hospice this year I can honestly tell you it is the best organization everybody was very kind and nurturing and sympathetic to our needs in this horrible time. I pray and hope that no family will ever go through what my family experienced with this organization. The pain of losing my sister will forever be exacerbated by the lack of compassion by Suncoast Hospice. May God forgive everyone of you and hope that you and your family never endure what you all put us through.
For my local friends I wanted to brag a bit on how great our hospice is. Suncoast Hospice/ Emapth Health is an incredible group of people that we could not do without for mother's care at the end. Round the clock care, counseling, nursing and more. Superb compassionate care without overpowering the situation. Don't hesitate to call them. We were glad we did. Hats off for the wonderful people we met on the Lavender team. Thank you from the family of Helen Ore.
