In 1975, Wayne Schmidt, Sr. started Suncoast Chrysler Plymouth Inc.. His two sons, Phil and Wayne, Jr., starting working at the dealership in 1979 and 1981. Over a period of time, the Schmidt family has added the Jeep franchise in 1998 and the Dodge and Ram line in 2009. In 2010, the Schmidt family did its 3rd renovation. The building has been transformed into a state of the art facility for its customers and employees.

My Orange Jeep Renegade 2015 got towed to Ferman Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of New Port Richey. I was told that inside the shifter was broken and they replaced and fixed the whole entire shifter mechanism. Then I was told that a restriction was put on my 6 year warranty. What? Why was a restriction put on my 6 year warranty and why wasn't I notified before? FCA sent a letter to take Jeep into Service Team for national issue with 2018 to 2020 engine. Their Advisor, Ryan Carmody took great care to test and alert FCA. Suncoast CJDR took immediate action.
Purchasing my new Ram 1500 at Suncoast was a pleasure. Their Salesman, Parker, was informative as well as professional and my purchasing experience was great.
They love you when you are making a deal however, after you take it off their lot, they have absolutely no interests in your concerns with any problems ( certified used)...I called two times, lost connection on first call, Mike was busy with a customer and had no time for me other than now this great certified vehicle turned into "hey, it's a used vehicle" ...really? Was told to call manager, I did, left a message and still waiting for return call...not so happy with these guys.
