STAY AWAY!!! He seems to be scamming more people now. This is ridiculous I will be refling a complaint with the BBB after reading another recent review and I recommend anyone who has dealt with this man also report him to the BBB and the California BAR. He scammed me an extra $30 by lying to me about the evap monitor. He called me later in the week saying that he would no longer scam people if i remove my BBB complaint. I've been going to this guy for 6 years, but this year will be the last. He asked me a series of question reguarding the car, and I told him about the car's ECU has been reset due to a part that was replaced. I told him that I did a hundred mile drive cycle but not sure if all system is clear and ready. Rather than checking with a scanner first, he went a head and proceeded with the actual test knowing it is a high possibility it will fail. Charged me extra because evap monitor wasn't ready, but he scammed me by pocketing the extra $35. He wrote $60 on the official dmv receipt. I did some research and California allows car to pass smog check even if the evap monitor isn't ready. All the other monitors have to be ready in order to pass except the evap one. I will be submitting a formal complaint with the BAR if my money is not returned. This man is taking advantage of people when he gets the chance. Go somewhere and save yourself the headache.
