My Favorite Vet Dr. Hudson at Sun Valley Animal Hospital is the best vet I have ever had the pleasure of taking my animals to. Over the years I have had dogs and cats, some requiring surgery and others just needed illness or wellness care. Dr. Hudson cared for my precious schnauzer from birth to old age death with the most competent and compassionate medical care possible. STAY AWAY FROM HERE !!!!!! Recently our young (less than two yrs.) Australian Shep,â Docâ, displayed signs of weakness and a foul odor to his breath. We suspected ingestion of some type of toxin. My wife phoned Sun Valley Animal Hospital with a report of her suspicions. When I presented 'Doc' to Dr. Barker, I reiterated our concerns about poisoning. Sun Valley Animal Hospital is very kind. We have used Sun Valley Animal Hospital for 10 years, and I've been very happy with the kind care my dog has gotten. I would highly recommend them. They are always very quick to get my pet in if there is a problem.
GREAT vet We've gone to Sun Valley Animal for 6 years and I can't say enough about how wonderful they are with our dog. Dr. Barker is very compassionate and wonderful with animals. I have never been anything less than thrilled with the quality of care they give there.
My wonderful companion died because of this! My big boy died after a I took him in for a examination because he was not eating well. The vet said he was normal and everything fine and he died in less than a week. He was bloated and they did not even see it or took xray. What kind of examination was that? I actually paid for 2 examinations, one for heartworm and one for complete exam. I transferred him here from my other vet because of all the "good reviews" you people or "fakers" put here. Worth the drive! Dr. Hudson and his staff always take great care of Hanna and Lola. Both dogs love going to visit, even if sometimes they get an "ouchie". Any bad thing that is done is done gently and with love.
RecommendedDr. Barker is the best. So kind and caring. He loves animals, but he also loves the pets parents. He takes time to talk to you, and not at you. He answers all questions you may have. When I had to put one of my beloved furbabys to cross the rainbow bridge, he was right there beside me, experiencing the same emotions I was having. He’s so caring.
I have had the best care for my furkids. All of the Vets I have interacted with are knowledge, re-assuring and are completely honest with their recommendations. They have given care to six of my fur-babies, both cats and dogs. I lost my beloved Golden doodle PJ just before Christmas, I will never forget how compassionate the staff was that day.
Everyone was very friendly and professional.
