Had a problem communicating with SolarEdge inverter via older 3g. Asked for a solution. They ended up recommending going with wi-fi. Ended up having same disconnect problem in spite of my fiber optic ATT connection and the router being 3 ft from inverter. I ended up researching on YouTube/Google how to eliminate the problem.
