Highly recommend hiking Kraule Trail, especially the last half mile!
UPDATE: went back this weekend and had a night and day difference. Staff was super friendly, room was so much better (we stayed in the main lodge this time). Only knock is that there wasnt a fridge in our room. My wife and I were looking forward to a relaxing weekend and wound up tired and heading home earlier than we wanted because neither of us slept well and woke up sore. wonderful staff and a beautiful view. we stopped up there for lunch and to just check it out as we have heard so many great thing about it. don't know about the rooms but all else stands up to the reputation so my guess is they are awesome too!
Beautiful private lake and cabin. The top of the hill is the lodge with breathtaking views. Would highly recommend this weekend get away.
My hubby & I went up to Winthrop & stayed at Sun Mountain Lodge during the off season & had an absolute ball !!!!! Very romantic, t♡♡ !!!!
