Been coming here with my kids for years and now with grandkids. Love it. Staff are great, grounds, art, room, pool, VIEW, and hiking trails are great.
We stayed in the Robinson Lodge in a standard room and it was beautiful! The views from our window and deck were spectacular. The bed was very comfy after a seven mile hike up to Patterson Mtn right from the Lodge. Breakfast was great, as was lunch--both with amazing views from the restaurants. The Activities people were helpful with choosing hike routes. We did the Cowboy Dinner, which was unique and very casual, although pretty spendy ($70/pp for wagon ride, $85/pp horse ride). Nice vacation. Hiking, horses, lake Patterson water activities and nice pools. Food and bar service at the pool was slow. Pools were clean but the furniture cushions were dirty! Definitely want to sit on a towel. I wish there was music at the pool. We spent 3 nights, 4 days. Did the cowboy dinner, its expensive. Wish there was some real music down there to liven it up. Rooms are of average size, nice bathrooms but the bed linens are tired. Definitely need to upgrade the linens. My only real complaint is that even though I wa... read more
Beautiful place, great food, quiet and relaxing
It's as we remember it from our honeymoon, 38 years ago, updated of course. Wonderful to be back! We really enjoyed our stay, with the quietness and solitude, and the beautiful scenery. Amazing how many stars we can see on a clear night. We would love to come back again sometime,
