Right, wrong or indifferent, my doctor's primary focus seemes to be trying to push cholesterol meds. My usual wait time past appointment time is around thirty minutes. That's just to be called to the back. Obviously another ten - fifteen minute wait from there. I have literally waited a little over an hour past appointment time before being seen. Today, I'm told that my appointment doesn't exist. They will try to squeeze me in, but it will be a wait. Not happy with this situation. This will be my last time using this PCP.
Just the experience getting an appointment has been a nightmare. I chipped my tooth. I called them to schedule an appointment for that and a general cleaning on 6/15 (a whole month out, which was the earliest). On the day of the appointment, they call me to reschedule due to some dental assistance not being available. They don’t pick up the phone they send you to other departments then put you on hold. They are OVERPRICED AND AND RUDE ZERO STARS
The dentist told me it's "not too late" to save my teeth.. I don't think she has to struggle with just affording food every day, let alone several thousand dollars worth of dental work. Healthcare, including dental, should be a human right, especially in the richest country on Earth. All you people care about is money. Even with your "sliding scale" or whatever it is, it's not enough.
