I will take the Polaris at the Hyatt any day. The hostess at the Sundial was very rude and shook her head when we asked for a sky view table and stuck us at a booth next to the kitchen. As much money as we spend at this restaurant, they should have been accommodating. I told the manager this was not my first visit to this restaurant, I bring guests that come out of the country to see the best of Atlanta and it is important for us to not be seated at the booth. What a shame for a restaurant to have such potential wasted. We went to the bar and lounge to enjoy a bottle of wine with dessert. Waited over 30 minutes to get service before calling to the restaurant to get a manager. Prior to speaking with the manager we asked two servers for help later over hearing one saying she was taking a break. While I was speaking to the manager on the main level a sever actually came by and took the menu from my wife with out asking or taking our order. We were not the only table having this issue... read more
The view from the 72th floor is just fantastic, which outweighs the overpricing in the restaurant...

We go there when friends from abroad are visiting, for the view of Atlanta from the 72nd floor, and mostly sit in the bar. That would be it...
