Bought A summit. Pulled it out of the box and in ten places the coating was already peeling and cracking off exposing bright shiny stainless steel. To say I was unhappy after spending over $300 is an understatement.
I just bought a summit xxl from gander mtn. I like the stand very much but the finish on it sucks! Paint is peeling off every where. Only used it a couple of times.
I've got 3 summit vipers!!! Best & most comfortable stands on the market!!!
I have the viper SD. I've had it for a few years now and love it. Have a few hang ons also that are just as good. Very happy with these products.
bought 4 of the viper ss 3 weeks ago. you can't best these stands
Summit Titan. Had it for about 4-5 years now. Never had a climber I felt as safe and secure in. Always climb 25-30'. Use about 20 times a season minimum. I'd buy another but I can't climb two trees at once
I have two, the Viper and the Titan. Both are amazing. I can set comfy for hours on end. I usually climb to around 25 or 30 feet and always feel safe. I've been caught in heavy winds where the winds were absolutely rocking the tree I was in and it holds like a champ. My next stand will be my third Summit. Love them!!
Best climber there is! Wouldn't own any other! Very best out there!
Best climbing stands made. I have a viper and bushmaster. They have never let me down.
