I have owned many stands but my summit viper sd is the bomb most comfortable and safest stand I've ever used I'll buy summit from now on
I have a summit climber and 2 welds cracked on the seat supports in the back . I called summit and they told me that it was to old of a model for them to do anything , but that i shouldn't use it and get a new one. Thanks for standing behind the product , i don't care how old it is , your welds shouldn't break. I had it rewelded myself and still use it. Just wish they would've replaced it . Not a first time user or buyer have owned several including hang ons . But will not buy anymore.
They stand behind there equipment. Was on the phone for 15 mins due to paint peeling on climber and new climber i the mail very pleased
Never any other brand for me.im still rocking my 08 model, although I have been thinking on upgrading this year.

THE BEST SELF CLIMBING STANDS EVER. SO SOLID QUIET EASY TO USE AND SAFE I USE THE OPEN SHOT MODEL. SURE NOT LIKE THOSE BAKER STANDS WE USED BACK IN THE 1970'S WELL TECHNOLAGY OVER THE YEARS.I LOVE SUMMIT STANDS.
