Picked up a new 6x12 tandem utility trailer the other day. Had a 4x8 and was really pleased with the quality. The only complaint with the trailer is the placement of the tongue jack. Sits too far forward to avoid hangover from my truck bed. Had to remove the jacket k and use a jack mounted to the tongue side bar. Also bucks a lot going down the road with just a motorcycle load.
I picked up my trailer from a Summit Trailer dealer, drove about 50 miles home and two of the four axle caps fell off. The dealer told me to contact the manufacturer. I left a voicemail with Summit trailers and to my surprise I was contacted the next day which was a Saturday. Greg advised me to fill out the warranty card online and asked me to text him pictures of the VIN and missing axle covers. Awesome Peolpe and company to work with. I could not be happier with the process of buying a dump trailer from Summit Trailers and I love that my trailer was built right here in my home state of Oregon less than 30 miles from my home. Trailer is beautiful. It’s built like a tank and it tows like a dream. Awesome experience through and through.
