How this staff is still employed and onsite is beyond me. The Staff continuously is giving out incorrect information when it comes to rules and procedures. Are they ALL unaware or untrained of Colorado Fair Housing Laws? The way they speak to the minority tenants is not only rude but inhumane. I wouldn't recommend this apartments to NOBODY! The management seems okay until you moved in! The property manager Matt Vasquez is the absolute worse manager! I have never in the 15 years I lived in Las Vegas and Henderson had a property manager treat me and other tenets the way he does. I'm actually helping four of my former neighbors to find new places to live for the kids and family. He walks around and yells at all the kids and tells them there not allowed on all common areas so basically they can't go outside! His attit... read more

I rented a 2b2b apartment for one year, moved out on Oct 1st 2021. There are hidden fees everywhere, the online portal charged a fee of almost $100 every time I paid rent. There is also a very expensive monthly common appliances bill. I was charged $50 on electricity alone. The sewer was $70 a month, which I also think is pretty high for one person. Taluswood will come inside your apartment and take upwards of 15 pictures of your things without your consent, under the guise of inspecting *appliances. They will comment on the things you own as they do. A Piece of paper was posted on all the doors on my complex stating 48 hours notice to enter, further investigation revealed they needed to do a appliance inspection. Ok, no big deal. Check date on the water heater, the oven, etc. Whatever. But, that's not what happened. No inspection took place. Two guys entered my apart... read more

The place got 4 stars from people who have no other place. However if you live near this building it's a one star and a SLUM. The vast majority of tenants are formerly homeless, drunk, seriously mentally ill (talking about running down hallways with a knife!) and/or drug users. There are still some very nice seniors, but each year, they move on to Silvercrest and then a new crazy person comes in. • If you value your money and your life, stay the hell away from this dump. The complex was obviously built on the cheap and then aggressively marketed as some kind of "high end" place. Unfortunately, I fell for the scheme. The apartments were built in 2017, so when I moved in in 2019, the negative reviews had yet to start pouring in and the Outlook's fake glowing reviews were the only ones to judge by. Retired CPA, lived here 2+ years. Taluswood may not be a good place in particular for those who work at home, are retired, or who cannot afford sizeable, annual rent increases. Why? Continual construction noise, future sizeable rent increases likely to pay for it. More: 1. I have lived here for 7yrs and I absolutely love it here. The management and staff is awesome. Ally and Kat are amazing whenever I have questions or an issue they are quick to help me with it. When this whole corona virus thing happened Ally reached out to me when things got tough and helped me through it all, just her empathy and words of kindness helped she is an amazing manager and her staff is equally amazing as well!!!!
