The wait time is between 1 hour to 3 hour's. The Doctor has no respect for the clients time. They do not call in medicine on time. They also do not call you back. Very disappointed in service and care. Do not recommend.
The three years I lived in Akron and attended Summit Psych undid the previous three years of progress elsewhere and I still haven't recovered. The bedside manner of the doctors and organization of the staff is abyssmal. They brought a psychiatrist out of retirement and assigned me to him. We had two vists. By my second visit with him I saw signs of ACTUAL DEMENTIA. He asked me the sake questions, THREE TIMES within a ten minute time span. Questions I had answered in abundance... on PAPERWORK. I don't like to see negative reviews on a practice that gives so much of itself selflessly for the well-being of so many. I've read the reviews of the others and while everyone is entitled to their opinions, please note that in my experience, none of that has ever happened or I would have noted it by now. Please feel at ease and comfortable with a recommendation to Summit Psychological Associates and their many services and programs.
