Short term rentals have destroyed summit county.
We rented one of your houses last year for our annual family vacation. We brought my in laws and had the trip of a lifetime and were able to finally heal after a few years of unforeseen circumstances! We were so badly looking forward to the same house with amazing views this year!! It was the perfect house for our family! We got an email this past Sunday stating that our house was not going to be able to be rented! Be very careful renting from Summit Mountain Rentals. We booked with them in July for a ski trip in November, they called us yesterday and said “ sorry the house is no longer available” now we are scrambling trying to find something else. Didn’t offer us a discount or anything! Just sorry! I’m just glad it wasn’t the week of the trip! There are plenty of rental places just stay away from this one!!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡
Just spent a great weekend in Frisco, CO, in a condo rented through and managed by Summit Mountain Rentals. It was great, clean, well apportioned, with a seamless rental process, entry, attention and departure. I highly recommend using Summit Mountain Rentals!
We stayed at Tranquility House. In summary, Summit Mountain Rentals is not someone to rent from. This is a big house, no question with plenty of parking. Unfortunately, it is getting old and it is not well maintained. No one cares to make sure everything works and I blame Summit Mountain Rentals. Know that the kitchen table in the pictures is not accurate and there is a much cheaper table/chairs in the house. Employees in the office super nice. Convenient location. Unfortunately our unit was very outdated (from late 70's early 80's) plus it was dirty.. Hair on the sheets! All the light switches and floor boards gross! Won't be back here.
