The fairgrounds are in horrible shape. everything from the construction zones in the parking lot and the overcrowded broken walkways inside the fair are unsafe. Sadly, at county fair time they allow caged exotic animals (white tigers) to be brought in and left in small display cages. The animals had no food or water and were left in the cages for hours. Fair animals are a showcase of the surrounding farms and always have food/water.
Animal Abuse is unacceptable

RecommendedI like the fair for the most part. Sad thing is it keeps getting smaller and smaller each year. I understand Summit County doesn't have a lot of areas for livestock unlike Portage County. I just feel like these kids are missing out on this opportunity and experience. A little disappointed there wasn't any bumper cars for the kids, kinda surprised me but I understand there's only so much room. Also maybe add some changing tables or changing areas. Overall pretty good experience this year.
NO NO NO. Any facility that allows wild animals to be caged and mistreated should be ashamed of itself. Keeping tigers in tiny cages for human amusement is appalling!
After seeing what I saw with the tigers in small cages I will not be attending there !

we've been going to the fair as a family tradition for over two decades.... no more! shameful you let those tigers be treated that way for an extra buck
Horrible mistreatment of wild animals, like an old-time roadside show. Is this what we want children to see and learn? You should be utterly ashamed.
