Stick to domestic animals. Tigers should not be on display and whipped! I will not support this!

Captive tigers at the fair? 🤬 There is absolutely no reason for this other than to exploit wild animals for profit. This has nothing to do with the values and the spirit of a county fair. Signed, a local veterinarian

Disappointed to see that the Summit County fairgrounds is defending their position on exploiting exotic animals for profit.

Wild animals are not here to entertain humans. This is disgusting. This is why so many circuses have folded. No thinking human being would be interested.

I've always enjoyed the fair, but seeing the tigers on display in such a fashion was disgusting. Stick to pigs and goats. Shame on you.

I will not attend this year because of the tigers in captivity and being forced to perform tricks. Tigers are wild animals. I can’t fathom why the Summit County Fair would allow this.

I am totally against having white tigers being held captive, just for greedy people to make money. They are confined to small cages for several hours a day. They are forced to do tricks etc. when they should be in a natural habitat. This is cruel, abusive, & unnecessary. I will not be attending the fair this year because I am totally against keeping wild animals confined like this. I am also a Farm Bureau member & own farm animals. I have also assisted with farm animal, dog & cat rescues.

I mean I get it’s to make a buck $$..... how does having caged up circus animals coincide with what the fair teaches in 4h? Normally I and my family, about 15 of us visit EVERY fair in North East Ohio. No longer Summit County. Thank goodness I don’t have children yet to have to explain why it’s not okay. This is disturbing.
